As Autumn is fast approaching, I've already started to opt for those burgundy/plum shades that I love to wear this time of year and my current go to palette is Charlotte Tilbury's Vintage Vamp Palette. Charlotte Tilbury products are definitely my weakness. I currently only have a few of her products in my collection, but I'm completely smitten with them all!

The Vintage Vamp Palette is one of the nine eyeshadow palettes available. They're colour-coded which means each shade in the palette is intended to be used in a particular way. Inside the palette, there are four shades; Prime which is intended to be used as a base and to brighten up the eye area and is a satin, pink toned champagne shade. Next is Enhance which is intended to be used in the crease to add definition, this is a matte plum shade with a warm brown undertone. Pop is my favourite shade, it might seem just like your typical gold shade, but it's packed full of glitter and it's so finely milled to prevent a huge amount of fall out. This is intended to be used on top of all the other shadows to create a light-catching effect, personally I wouldn't wear this every day, but it's perfect for a nighttime look. And lastly is Smoke, which is a deep, matte, burgundy shade. This is the darkest shade in the palette and is the shade that can transform your look from daytime to night.

In terms of packaging, I love it! It's beautiful and looks pretty luxurious, but still remains sleek and compact, which makes it an easy palette to keep in your makeup bag for when you're out and about. Charlotte just never seems to get it wrong, does she?

So the question you're all probably wondering, would I recommend? Y E S. At £38 for a palette of four eyeshadows, it's definitely more of a premium product, but they are without a doubt the best eyeshadows I've ever used. The pigmentation is incredible and applying and blending the eyeshadows is an actual dream, even though they are powder, they feel so, so creamy - almost buttery soft. The thing that shocked me the most was how little fallout you get from these eyeshadows, which means you can go ahead and apply your foundation first without any worry of all those dark shades falling out into your base makeup. Overall, I love this eyeshadow palette A LOT and it's perfect for creating a whole range of different looks.

Hae you tried any Charlotte Tilbury products?

And just like that, summer fell into fall

Top 15 Things About Autumn/Fall 2015
All images from Pinterest.

Okay, I know it's not officially Autumn yet but I am SO excited for the upcoming season. It feels like Spring was literally five minutes ago and now we're already over a week into September - crazy! As Autumn is my favourite season, I thought I'd share with you the things I love the most about it!

001: Candles. All of the candles. I never really light many candles in the warmer months, so when Autumn rolls around, I go crazy and buy every Halloween themed candle in sight.

002: Autumnal Makeup. Berry lips and burnt orange eyeshadows? Definitely one of my favourite makeup looks ever!

003: Cosy Nights In. There's nothing better than lighting all of your favourite candles, snuggling up on the sofa and watching movies.

004: Hot Drinks. Pumpkin Spice Latte and Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate.. Need I say more?

005: Onesies. Autumn marks the start of the onesie season and it's so enjoyable to be able to wear a onesie without melting.

006: Fairy Lights. Fairy Lights make everything seem 1000x cosier. I just want to live in a world where everyone has fairy lights in every room possible.

007: That crisp feeling in the air. Even though this means it will be getting very cold, I just love it when the air feels so crisp - it reminds me of Halloween when I was a child.

008: Halloween. I love Halloween SO much and I could probably write a whole list on all the things I love about it.

009: Bubble Baths. There's nothing better than coming in from the cold and having a hot bubble bath - even better with a Lush bath bomb.

010: Leaves. Falling leaves, crunchy leaves, golden leaves. They're just the BEST in the autumn time and I can already tell that my puppy is going to spend too much of his time chasing all the leaves flying about!

011: Fireworks. Remember, remember the 5th of November! I love firework night so much, it just makes me feel so nostalgic.

012: Tartan. Every Autumn/Winter I become obsessed with all things tartan!

013: Duvet Days. "Ahh, I'm just a big, toasty cinnamon bun. I never want to leave this bed." 10 points if you know what that's from! Being able to be wrapped up in a duvet without melting and binge watching Netflix? Perfect.

014: TV Shows Start Again. Grey's Anatomy, Doctor Who, American Horror Story and Once Upon A Time are all starting up again soon!

015: Countdown to Christmas. After Halloween and Firework Night are over I think it's perfectly acceptable to start avidly counting down the days until Christmas. Too much excitement!

What are you favourite things about Autumn/Fall?

What I've Been Watching - Summer 2015

What I've Been Watching - Summer 2015

Grey's Anatomy (2005-)
Starring: Ellen Pompeo, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson.
If you know me, you will definitely be aware of how hooked I am with Grey's Anatomy and you're probably thinking "Is she really mentioning this again?" YES, yes I am. I've never been a fan of medical programmes. I've spent enough time in the hospital in my own life, so why I would I want to watch that? But I had heard SO many people say it's amazing and really addictive, so I thought I'd watch a couple of episodes and became obsessed pretty quickly! If you've never watched it before, it's a drama that follows the lives of five surgical interns. It's SO good and has the best quotes, but be warned you probably will cry a lot!

Scream (2015-)
Starring: Willa Fitzgerald, Bex Taylor-Klaus, John Karna.
I'm obsessed with horror movies and when I heard that they were making a TV adaption of the Scream franchise, I was really excited! I'm currently nearing the end of the first season and I do really like it! It does slightly remind me of Pretty Little Liars in the way of them always worrying about anonymous messages and calls! The story starts when a cyber-bullying video goes viral on YouTube and results in one of the culprits being brutally murdered. It then drags up memories of a serial killer from the past that has a lot of similarities of the current killer. I love how modern it feels, with references to Pretty Little Liars and how it all starts with a YouTube video. There's only one season (10 episodes) available at the moment, but season two will air in 2016!

The Lying Game (2011-2013)
Starring: Alexandra Chando, Andy Buckley, Allie Gonino.
I watched this a while ago now, but I thought I'd mention it anyway because I really enjoyed it! I started watching this because it's based on books that are written from the same author as Pretty Little Liars! The story follows long-lost twins Sutton and Emma who were separated as babies for unknown reasons. Sutton was adopted by a wealthy family and Emma ended up in the foster system. Sutton goes off in search for answers, whilst Emma takes over Sutton's life. It's SO good and I think if you like Pretty Little Liars, you'll like this too! The only downfall is it was cancelled due to lack of ratings, so there is only one season and a half - boo!

The Office (2005-2013)
Starring: Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer.
Honestly, I don't usually like comedies... Okay, that sounds bad, but I usually find them kind of try hard? I thought this would be the same, so when a couple of people suggested I watch it, I wasn't in any form of hurry. Then Netflix announced they were removing it, so I thought I'd see if I liked it before it was gone and it quickly became one of my favourite TV shows I've ever watched, which meant I had to attempt to binge-watch as much as possible before it was gone. I won't go too much into this as you've all probably watched at least one episode of this before and I probably will do a post on it once I've finished watching all seasons!

Love, Rosie (2014)
Starring: Lily Collins, Sam Claflin, Christian Cooke.
I also don't usually like chick-flicks, but recently I've been obsessed with them - what is happening to me? I loved this movie so much and it's definitely one of those movies that you can watch again and again. The story follows Rosie and Alex who have been best friends since they were five years old. On Rosie's 18th birthday, they realise they both have feelings for each other, but every time they nearly get together something gets in the way. This has recently been added to Netflix and I would definitely recommend you watch it, but be warned you will probably cry!

If I Stay (2014)
Starring: ChloĆ« Grace Moretz, Mireille Enos, Jamie Blackley.
I had wanted to read the "If I Stay" book for such a long time, but I still hadn't got round to it, so I gave in and just watched the movie. The story follows Mia, who's life takes a dramatic turn when she's involved in a bad car accident which leaves her in a coma. Whilst in the coma, she has an out-of-body experience where she must decide if she wants to live a life completely different than she ever had imagined. It's good, but I do think it was definitely over hyped!

Stuck in Love (2012)
Starring: Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, Lily Collins.
After watching Love, Rosie I developed a huge girl crush on Lily Collins, so I watched Stuck in Love too which is also on Netflix! The story follows the Borgens family, who are all writers and all have problems with love. Lily Collins plays Samantha and is very cynical about love and is afraid of getting hurt. Her brother Rusty is played by Nat Wolff (heart eye emojis) and is falling in love for the first time and their dad is still very much in love with his ex-wife. It's a pretty good movie and I feel like I can relate to Samantha a lot.
